President
KERRY-ANNE GEORGE
Hi! I’m Kerry-Anne. My family and I have been members of the club for 6 years. I have been on the board of directors for 4 years and am excited to be going into my 2nd year as President.
We joined BMX because it's a sport that the entire family can participate in, and we stayed because of the amazing community that is Okotoks BMX!
What I love about the club is the community and shared emotion it creates. Although winning a moto is an individual feat, there is a real sense of team camaraderie as riders cheer on and congratulate each other as they cross the finish line. We have met so many great people and will treasure the friendships and memories we have made. We have a great board this year, who are dedicated to making sure the kids have the best possible experience for the 2024 season!
I look forward to seeing everyone on their bikes at the track this year!
Vice-President & Coach
DARRYL KOWALCHUK
Hi! I'm Darryl Kowalchuk, Vice President and Assistant Coach for the Okotoks Club. My family first became involved with the Okotoks BMX club in 2018 when we enrolled our son Devin. It wasn’t long before my daughter Charlotte and I were riding in the club as well! I race 20” and have been a coach with the club for 4 years. I was a Director at Large on the Boards for 2 years and this will be my first year as Vice President.

I am very passionate about the sport of BMX and love being a Coach. I love to see the kids progress in their skills and thoroughly enjoy socializing with all of them and their families. The friendships we have made over the years have become like family.

I look forward to another amazing year!

SOPHIE GIBBS
My name is Sophie Gibbs I’m 19 years old and have been riding for 13 years now and I have coached the past 4 years! I love coaching as I’ve been able to give back to the BMX community which has provided me with so many of the values I hold today. This past summer my good friend Isabella Bregliano and I started Ignite BMX Coaching and we are looking forward to holding more camps/clinics for the 2024 season.
I’m currently studying kinesiology at Lake Superior State University while also playing university hockey. When I’m home from school I’m always looking forward to getting back on the track and work with so many awesome riders!

ISABELLA BREGLIANO
Hello! My name is Isabella Bregliano. I’m 19 years old and have been racing for 13 years. I was at the university of Lethbridge studying for a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology however, I have decided to change paths and transfer to a collage for an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) program which I’m super excited for!! I’ve always loved working with kids and athletes and coaching is one way I can give back the knowledge and skills I have learnt in the past to the kids!
This past summer Sophie Gibbs and I have started Ignite BMX Coaching and we plan to have multiple camps this up coming year and we’re so excited!!
