Our Teddy Bear Program has proved to be very community friendly and over the last several years we have become knows for our teddy program.  On average we give out a bear a day through the course of the year, throughout the region.
When children experience an ambulance ride or even if they must come along with us, for whatever reason, we often need to comfort them, particularly a frightened or sick child.  Some teens even find themselves feeling just a bit better when they are given a teddy bear from the EMS folks who have cared for them.
The FREMS Bike Team is a highly visable,
mobile response team that is comprised of volunteer Paramedic and EMT-A's that are trained in bike handling skills.  This very successful team attends many community events such as parades, fairs, races and recreational activities where access and mobility are key.  Our team was utilized for the Alberta Summer Games in Okotoks and High River last year and were a huge success.  Funding will go to improving equipment, training and promotion of the team.
The riders will be giving up their trophies on this day in order to donate to this charity.  Please support our riders as they collect donations for our local FREMS

Please donate generously to this cause.
