Alberta Cup Awards!!!

Due to the massive challenge it has become to get all the year-end awards to the Provincial Grands, Alberta BMX is considering changing the year end awards to a smaller glass type award with a lit center. Each award would have a BMX rider lasered in the center. They look pretty sweet and wouldn’t take up nearly as much room as the big ones. Have a look below and let them know what you think in the Forum.

Award #1 "Road to Globe"                   Award #2 "Star"

LIONS CAMPGROUND - CITY OF RED DEER

An inner-city location makes Lions Campground in Red Deer a convenient getaway.

Located on the Red Deer River, campers can enjoy hiking and biking trails, horseshoe pits and a playground, plus all the amenities a city of 89,000 has to offer, at your disposal.   (It is my understanding that this campground does not take reservations)

For those of you planning on attending the Alberta Cup race #1 in Morley on February 17th, here is the info:

Message from Camp Cools!!!!!

The first provincial race weekend of the year will be upon us in a few weekends. There will be no race held on the Saturday, rather just an open day for practice. I will be holding a training camp on the afternoon of this Saturday (Feb 16th) from 4:00pm to 7:00pm for a cost of $30 per rider. This will be the last opportunity to receive top end coaching on the track that we will be racing on, and this track is pretty technical.

I will have around 8 trainers who will be helping me with this camp so we will be splitting the group into 2. Allowing for the most amount of track time for the kids, and thus getting the best results. Like always the camp is open to all ages and skill levels and every level will be addressed.

For more info please contact me at kencools@shaw.ca or feel free to call me at 403-829-7561.
